Audi Buys Ducati For 1.12 Billion USD

Audi Takeover DucatiAs it turns out, the negotiations between Volkswagen-owned Audi and Ducati owner Investindustrial  has finally culminated to a deal.

The German luxury carmaker has agreed to buy Italian bikemaker, Ducati, for a sum of 1.12 billion USD.  Audi will also inherit all of Ducati’s current financial liabilities.

The union between the two mega-industries marks a giant leap  in Audi’s ambitious ‘Project Eagle,’ which is aimed at elevating Volksawagen becoming the world’s largest auto manufacturer.… Read More…
