Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse – Teaser Released

It’s the Veyron, and it’s back with the biggest bang yet called the EB Grand Sport Vitesse. The new Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is essentially an open-top super grand tourer. The Vitesse will be similar to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which holds the current world speed record of 431km/h. Like every Veyron, the Vitesse will boast of outstanding driving characteristics. According to Bugatti, the model is considered the most powerful serial produced convertible in the world. Boasting of a monstrous 16-cylinder engine that produces an output of 1,200 horsepower. In order to accommodate the increased pony output, Bugatti engineers carefully modified the car’s chassis while also adding four enlarged turbochargers, which add an extra 200PS of power and intercoolers to the car’s overall technical equation.

Together with the 1,200-horsepower output of the Grand Sport Vitesse, the supercar also delivers an astounding 885 lb/ft or NM of torque. Considering the kind of car we’re dealing with here, you can expect the performance figures to be in the vicinity of the record-setting Veyron Super Sport’s 0-62 mph time of 2.5 seconds and overall top speed of 279 mph. The car comes with the top notch build quality of Bugatti, interiors of the highest quality, perfect vehicle dynamics, mind blowing acceleration, heart stopping braking and the pure joy of driving an open-top. And the price? The Vitesse is currently pegged at about 2 million euros or $2.64 million going by the current exchange rates.
