Introduced this September, the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is the last of its series but the good news is that Lamborghini is coming with its successor very soon. F1 Successor (P1). Is it?
Unveiled just 9 days ahead of the Paris motor show to be held on 27th September, 2012, McLaren P1 is here for you. Dripping with McLaren’s eye popping orange, the P1’s official pictures just spread like wildfire all over the internet. The images clearly showcased the car after its teaser videos so far. Looks? My God that car is a beauty. With just a look of it, one can say the aesthetics of a mp4-12c purely studded in it, just an evolved MP4-12C to brief it up.
The powertrain has yet not been confirmed but the current speculations infer the same 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 engine as in the mp4-12c, but a little tweaked one producing an enormous 803 bhp. Adding to it is a fully functional KERS unit producing 160 bhp to a total 963 bhp. This is utterly hyper-car territory. Mercedes V12 To Go Silent, AMG To Take Over
Autoweek quotes that Mercedes Benz has decided to handover its prestigious art of making V12 engine to its in- house tuner AMG. Due to environmental concerns and rising fuel prices, automobile firms are downsizing their massive engine to get better efficiency. As for the new BMW M5, they have reduced the engine from beautiful V10 to turbocharged V8. Likewise Mercedes has decided to stop the production of its own V12 engine.
However in contrast the brand which is synonymous with performance ,the AMG is well suited to build its biggest and smoothest powerplants. AMG has a charismatic history of delivering high performance engine since the very beginning. Even Pagani couldn’t escape the gravity of it’s spectacular engineering, which is why they preferred to use V12 crafted by AMG for Huayra instead of making their own.… Read More…
