Jag’s F-Type To Be debut In Paris

Jaguar has finally decided to unveil it’s long awaiting F-type in the Paris motor show that is going to be held next month. Jaguar admits that revealing the F-Type convertible at the Paris Motor show next month will be a “significant day” in the brand’s history. The 2013 F-Type sportscar is based on the C-X16 concept that Jaguar showcased a while ago.

The F-Type will go on sale in mid-2013 with a choice of three engines: two 3.0L supercharged V6 engines delivering 340 hp and 380 hp and a V8. Based on the Jaguar C-X16 hybrid, the model will feature an 8-speed auto gear box and Stop/Start technology.

The F-type will slot in beneath the XK in the Jaguar range.

Entry-level 3.0-litre V6 models are expected to start at around £55,000, and will be a rival for top-spec versions of the Porsche Boxster.
The unveiling of the F-type will mark another mile stone in the prestigious  history of Jaguar which is now under the influential hands of TATA.
