AutoSpace started off as a dream project of two brothers Ujjwal and Aditya Pandey, with Ujjwal currently studying in VIT ( Mech. Engg, Automotive ) and his 15 year old younger brother Aditya, who is currently our webmaster. The beginning was hectic, and obtaining the perfect domain name marked a stepping stone in realization of the dream, when the two together launched the website < autospace.co > 2 days prior to Diwali (Indian Festival), 2011.
Aditya Sharma, another VIT student (Mechanical with Automotive), joined the board in January 2012 and started the Bike section of the website and shared the burden of scouring the Internet to find the best possible material related to each article also covering the various Auto Expositions across the world.
At the early stage, the site received 1 or 2 visitors per day, i.e. 100 clicks per month. The pioneers toiled day and night to regularly update the posts and features of the website, providing visitors with the latest development in automotive all over the world, with special focus on key & unique features in performance, design and technical specifications, rendered in a language soothing to one’s passion for the same.
It has now been 7 months since the launch of the website, and already we’ve left behind us milestones which once seemed far away.
Our website has recently been listed among the top 100 automotive blogs in the world wide web (By Technorati), among 18,000, and continues to expand in its agenda.
Our board currently consists of 4 members involved in maintenance of the website:
Aditya Pandey (Pioneer, Administrator & Webmaster )
- Youngest of the group, and the most essential driving force in development of the website, in both features and content.
Ujjwal Pandey (Pioneer & Administrator)
- Involved in updating articles and providing new ideas for expanding the domain’s information variety and capacity.
Aditya Sharma (Author & Manager)
- Coordinates with advertisers and also maintains regular supply of articles to keep the website up-to-date.
Debashish Sanyal (Editor)
- Ensures presentation standards in terms on language and content is maintained at optimum level.
Our immediate agenda is providing information on select cars from manufacturers from all over the world, with insight on important details in technicality and design; thereby covering whole ranges of unique automotive characteristics.
On a long term basis, we strive to create semi-domains dedicated to providing the latest and best articles on topics of interest for engineers from all fields.
The peak of our accomplishment will be marked by an A-class Internet journal, dedicated to inspiring and lubricating passions of potential engineers and designers of the world to come.
