Jamaican road runner Usain Bolt has once again crashed his E92 BMW M3. The cause of the accident is still unknown, but reports suggest that the speed demon was leaving a party when the incident happened, in St Andrew, Jamaica.
The Olympic champion crashed his luxury BMW motor car into guard rails at the busy Half Way Tree intersection shortly after (1000 GMT) Sunday.
The accident occurred just days after Bolt defeated Powell at the Diamond League meet in Oslo, Norway.
Bolt’s publicist, Carole Beckford, says he was not hurt in the accident and was resting at home.
This is the sprinter’s second car accident in recent years. In 2009 he escaped with only minor injuries after his BMW M3 ran off the road into a ditch. The car reportedly flipped a couple times before coming to a halt on its top.
He sustained minor injuries to his feet in that crash.
